Complete Microlift Deep Plane

Patient, 57 years old Result after 2 years In-clinic surgical center
The Primary Concern

Gisele came to Dr. Marcelo concerned about sagging in her neck, a loss of jawline definition, and a facial expression she felt looked tired. She also wanted to restore her facial contour and soften the appearance of her eyes, while preserving her individual features and avoiding an artificial look.

The Indication

Since her main concerns involved different areas of the face, the indication was comprehensive treatment, allowing each structure to be repositioned according to its specific needs.

The goal was not to transform her appearance, but to restore balance between the face, neck, and eyes, while preserving her individual features.

Surgical Access

Since different areas of the face were treated, specific access points were used for each one.

For the upper face and temporal suspension, incisions were placed within the hairline.

For the lower face and neck (Deep Neck), access was made starting at the earlobe, running discreetly behind the ear. A small incision beneath the chin complemented the treatment.

This approach allows access to the deeper planes of the face and neck while keeping scars discreet.

The Surgical Rationale

Not every patient needs to treat the entire face. In many cases, rejuvenation can be approached selectively, prioritizing only the areas of greatest need.

In Gisele's case, however, the signs of aging were spread across different areas of the face. Treating only one of them would have left the rejuvenation incomplete and could have compromised the harmony of the result.

For this reason, the indication was comprehensive treatment, allowing the deeper tissues of the face and neck to be repositioned as a whole. Temporal suspension complemented the upper face treatment, providing a subtle lift to the tail of the eyebrow and contributing to a softer expression.

More than treating different areas in isolation, the goal was to restore balance between them, preserving the patient's natural features.

Result Over Time

The photographs shown on this page were taken approximately two years after surgery.

By this point, the tissues had fully healed and settled, showing a stable result consistent with the surgical plan.

The goal of treatment was not to alter the patient's appearance, but to reposition structures affected by aging, preserving her identity and delivering a natural rejuvenation.
