The patient had previously had a blepharoplasty to treat the eye area. Over the years, she became concerned about a loss of jawline contour, neck sagging, and signs of aging in the lower face, and chose to continue her rejuvenation plan.
Since the eye area had already been treated, the indication was a Complete Microlift Deep Plane, including treatment of the neck (Deep Neck), preserving the tissue response from the first stage.
The goal was to complement facial rejuvenation as a whole, respecting the natural progression of aging and the patient's priorities.
In the first stage, blepharoplasty was performed through incisions placed in the natural creases of the eyelids.
In the second stage, incisions for the upper face were placed within the hairline. For the lower face and neck (Deep Neck), access was made starting at the earlobe, running discreetly behind the ear. A small incision beneath the chin may also be used to complement neck treatment, depending on the plan for each case.
This approach allows different areas to be treated at different times, while keeping scars discreet.
The best plan isn't always to perform every procedure at once.
In this case, the patient chose to manage the effects of time in stages, treating the eye area first and, years later, complementing it with repositioning of the face and neck.
This evolving approach shows that facial enhancement can be built progressively. Each stage had a realistic technical goal of meaningfully improving sagging, recognizing that the anatomy continues to be affected by the ongoing passage of time and that surgical outcomes are directly influenced by each life stage's health characteristics and tissue response.
The photographs shown on this page were taken after the second stage of treatment, illustrating how a plan carried out across different stages can produce a harmonious, natural result.
