Complete Deep Plane Microlift

Case Report: Patient presenting with laxity, jowls, and loss of facial contour.

Patient: Female, 49 years old

Procedure: Complete Deep Plane Microlift

Recovery: 6 months post-operative

1. Facial Contour and Neck

The patient presented with complaints of neck laxity and loss of definition in the facial contour. The procedure was performed at the clinic under local anesthesia and sedation.

We began with discreet incisions behind the earlobe to release the deep tissues in the cervical region, along the angle of the jaw, and in the 'jowl' area. This release allowed for the traction and repositioning of the structures, providing a more defined contour.

2. Central Face Region (Cheekbones)

To treat the central face region, we made hidden incisions within the scalp, near the sideburn. From this access point, the tissues were carefully released towards the nasolabial fold. This technique allowed for the elevation of the mid-face region, softening the fold and restoring support.

3. Eyebrow Elevation (Opening the Gaze)

We performed a second incision within the hairline to gently elevate the lateral corner of the eyebrow and improve fine lines around the eyes, contributing to a lighter and more rejuvenated gaze.

4. Submental Definition (Jowls/Neck)

We made an incision under the chin (submentum) to work on the platysma muscle. Plication (reinforcement suturing) of this muscle was performed, in addition to the removal of localized excess fat, seeking a more defined neck and a more lasting result.

5. Result and Recovery

The recovery was smooth. The patient quickly noticed the improvement in her facial and cervical contour, with a subtle, natural, and harmonious rejuvenation.
